Traveling is in my blood and I've been on the go internationally since the tender age of 16. I have shared so many wonderful memories with those fellow journey mates who have shared the TRAVCOA experience in some of the most amazing places on earth. Perhaps the most dramatic memories come from the tours I led to the Hindu Kingdom of Nepal. We took a small chartered aircraft out of Kathmandu, landing on the soccer field of a tiny village where it seemed as if the whole town turned out to greet us. From there we took jeeps to the river where we boarded crude dug-out canoes and peacefully floated for an hour to our awaiting elephants. These gentle creatures took us through the Chitwan National Park while we looked for tigers and one-horned Asian rhinos. On one of these jungle adventures, I was riding a young elephant who happened to be afraid of rhinos and every time we came across a rhino, this elephant would take off on a run. You simply haven't lived until you have been on the back of a galloping elephant!
