MARTA LUNA

A native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Marta speaks Portuguese, French, Italian and English. She's an "insatiable traveler," very interested in history, art and literature, and paints as a hobby. Marta became an American citizen in 1983 and the same year, she began accompanying and translating for special groups such as archeologists and museum curators. She has served as a Travel Director for TRAVCOA since 1985, and lives in both Argentina and Italy.

In her own words...
If I had to say which TRAVCOA journey is my favorite, it would be…“the one to come” because what I love most is that anticipation, looking ahead to the journey. Each is so different; I'll tell you what I love about some of my favorite places.

Rome, golden and warm...where all roads lead? There really is something indescribable about the stars on a clear night from the African desert. Then, there's always Paris with its outdoor cafés and bohemian pleasures...but the Southern Cross is inviting me to tango once more in elegant Buenos Aires.

I have traveled since I can remember and now that I have the chance to do it professionally, I can only begin to express what joy it brings me to share my passion with so many people. Life is unpredictable, but in my book, it comes with two large pieces of luggage and one carry-on! I can only hope I will find you there to share my next and favorite journey.
