KYMRI WILT

Kymri is an avid world traveler with an infectious enthusiasm to share life experiences. Her passion for travel is complimented by her interest in languages, culture, wildlife and photography. She earned a B.A. in International Relations, and her language studies include French, German, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese and Arabic. She studied and lived in Europe, got engaged in South America, and was married in Africa on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater. She lives with her family in Cardiff by the Sea, California.

Between travels, Kymri works as a freelance photographer, writer, and editor for various websites and publications. Her travel images have been published in guidebooks, textbooks, and calendars; as well as in magazines including National Geographic’s Adventure, Traveler, and Cathay Pacific’s in-flight magazine. Furthermore, her images grace various travel websites and brochures, including Travcoa’s World Traveler’s Dream Books. In her free time, Kymri enjoys surfing, hiking, and gymnastics.

In her own words: 

While I am passionate about everything I do, it is the experience of travel and the opportunity to share it with others that rewards me the greatest fulfillment. Some outstanding Travcoa memories include: viewing the full moon rise at Machu Picchu, dancing with geishas in Kyoto, and snorkeling with sea lions in the Galapagos. However, I must admit that some of my favorite Travcoa memories involve dining! Of course it’s a thrill to discover and enjoy the finest restaurants in any city in the world, but it’s the company of Travcoa guests and the conversations shared around the table that make each meal truly memorable. I love my job as much for the people I meet as the places I go. My favorite destination is wherever I'm headed next!
