JOHN WOOTTONBorn and still based some 40 miles west of London, John smiles when he recalls that following schooling and university, he was destined to spend the rest of his life as an accountant, working in the London Stock Market. However, with the chance to travel, he accepted a temporary job as a junior purser on a cruise ship, helping with finance on board. His sea career saw him moving from accounts, to being a cruise director, part of his duties including looking after the travel side on board with shore excursions and his own slide talks and port lectures. |
