DAY 2Venice Sightseeing Today experience the ebb and flow of life in the lagoon on a full‐day walking tour with your private, English‐speaking guide.
A stop along the Grand Canal, the main thoroughfare of Venice is full of beautiful buildings, most of which date from the 13th to the 18th centuries. The Rialto Bridge is one of the architectural icons of Venice and the main bridge crossing the Canal. It is over 400 years old and in the heart of Venice, near the lively marketplace.
Visit the Piazza San Marco, surrounded by chic sidewalk cafés and fashionable shops. Saint Mark’s Basilica, located at the eastern end of the Piazza is a beautiful church featuring Byzantine mosaics. Also on the Piazza is the most impressive building in Venice, the Doge’s Palace, a gothic palace constructed in the 14th century.
At the end of the tour, you will be taken by private boat and transferred to your hotel. (B)

DAY 3Venice to Tremezzo After breakfast, meet with our local assistant and depart by private boat transfer to Piazzale Roma. Your private car transfer and English‐speaking driver/guide will take you to Lake Como, a glacial lake in Northern Italy. You will spend the next two nights at one of the oldest and loveliest luxury hotels on Lake Como, the Grand Hotel Tremezzo. The hotel’s unique lakeside location offers panoramic views of Bellagio and the Grigne Mountains.
The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore the extensive hotel grounds or take the ferry to the different towns around the lake – each has its own distinctive character and allure. (B)

DAY 4Tremezzo Sightseeing This morning your car will drive you to town where you will meet your private, English‐ speaking guide for a full‐day tour of the Lakes District. This captivating region is the essence of picturesque from the attractive scenery to the mild climate. Bellagio on Lake Como is situated on the tip of the peninsula, and is a popular sightseeing destination due to its history and beauty. Villa Carlotta, built in 1690, is a noteworthy excursion and faces the Bellagio peninsula and features gardens, fountains and sculptures.
After the tour, you will be returned to your hotel and the remainder of the evening is at your leisure to enjoy your final night in this dazzling destination. (B)
