Day 1Arrive Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe Welcome to Zimbabwe. You are met on arrival in Victoria Falls, and taken from the airport to your hotel, an icon in the region.
This afternoon enjoy time at leisure to relax or explore. The lodge offers wonderful views of the Zambezi River, as well as a wide range of activities.

Day 2Victoria Falls Sightseeing This morning, arise early to embark on a thrilling, low-intensity elephant back safari through the bush. Your guide leads you through riverine bush and shallow parts of the Zambezi River onto the islands. Watch for buffalo, kudu, bushbuck, impala, elephants and waterbuck, as well as a wide variety of birds.
Next, take a guided walking tour of Victoria Falls, a spectacular sight of awe-inspiring beauty and grandeur. More than one mile wide, columns of spray can be seen from miles away. The wide basalt cliff, over which the falls thunder, transforms the Zambezi from a placid river into a ferocious torrent cutting through a series of dramatic gorges.

Day 3Victoria Falls to Hwange National Park This morning you are taken to the airport for your flight directly to Davidson’s Camp in the southeastern park of Hwange National Park. You are met upon arrival, and transferred to your accommodations at this simple camp offering an authentic bush experience.
Take an afternoon game drive for your first look at the incredible wildlife to be found here. (B,D)

Day 4Hwange National Park Game viewing here includes lion, large herds of elephant, buffalo, leopard, white rhino, spotted hyena, southern giraffe, sable, blue wildebeest, waterbuck and reedbuck. In summer, wildebeest, zebra and eland love the open plains, while in winter nearby waterholes are magnets for elephants in massive numbers. Bird life is also prolific.
In the morning you can take a game drive or choose an early morning guided walk. During the day relax and explore your camp surroundings before taking a late afternoon game drive. (B,L,D)
Davison’s Camp, Hwange
Day 5Hwange to Mana Pools National Park Today you are taken to the airstrip for your flight to the Ruckomechi Camp on the western side of the Mana Pools National Park. You are met upon arrival and taken into the camp, your base for the next two nights.
Nestled in a large grove of Acacia trees, and overlooking the Zambezi River, your camp offers superb views of the mountains and the Great Rift Valley beyond. This afternoon relax at the camp; perhaps lounge in the pool as you witness the parade of animals in the river. The area is renowned for large numbers of elephant, buffalo, hippo and eland that concentrate along the river. (B, L, D)
Ruckomechi Camp, Zimbabwe
Day 6Mana Pools National Park Mana Pools National Park offers a wide variety of wildlife and birdlife. Predators such as lion, leopard and wild dog are all found here, and the grunting of hippos can be heard all day long. You can see mopane woodland and riverine species of birds including the Collared Palm-Thrush, Racket-tailed Roller, Purple-banded Sunbird and Black-throated Wattle-Eyes.
You can easily watch wildlife from the camp, but you can take guided open-jeep safaris, wildlife walks as well as boat and canoe excursions. There are also excellent fishing opportunities.
Your camp consists of just 10 thatched chalets, each spacious, with an en-suite bathroom. (B, L, D)

Day 7Depart Ruckomechi to Victoria Falls Enjoy morning at the camp, then transfer to the airstrip for your flight to the Victoria Falls Airport. Depart from Victoria Falls for your flight home or on to your next destination. (B)
