DAYS 1 & 2Maun & the Okavango Delta, Botswana You are met upon arrival at the Maun Airport and then transferred to your safari camp in the Okavango Delta region. The expert Eagle Island Camp guides help you explore the flora and fauna of the delta by foot along the walking trails, by boat on the canals, and by air safari. A spectacular and scenic game-viewing helicopter journey is included in your camp stay. (B, L, D)

DAYS 3 & 4Moremi Game Reserve Board a shared light aircraft flight to the eastern region of the Okavango Delta, the Moremi Wildlife Game Reserve — a 1,160 sq. mile protected wildlife area. Your lodge camp is adjacent to the reserve and the Khwai River. Known for its large concentration of mammals, your camp is the perfect location from which to view elephants, buffalos, lions, leopards, cheetahs and wild dogs.
Take an afternoon safari drive in an open-air land cruiser, then perhaps an after-dark game drive to spot some of the nocturnal animals. You may also want to visit a local village to learn about the native culture and traditions. Tonight enjoy a stargazing presentation. (2B, 2L, 2D)
Khwai River Lodge, Moremi Wildlife Reserve
DAYS 5 – 7Chobe National Park & Depart for Home Today, take a short flight north to Chobe National Park. Stay in the Savute Channel, the heart of the park and a diverse habitat and haven for wildlife. The highlight of this area is Chobe’s animal migrations. At the Savute Elephant Camp’s watering hole, you can see massive herds of elephant and buffalo, the lion prides that hunt them, as well as many other predators such as the endangered wild dog, leopard, cheetah and hyena.
Your luxurious tented accommodation is built on a raised teak deck, and includes an en suite bathroom and a wonderful view of the water hole. Game drives in open Land Rovers depart the lodge each morning and afternoon. Dine in the open-air boma for an evening of traditional foods and spectacular vistas of the African night sky.
On Day 7 enjoy your last hours in Chobe National Park before boarding your small aircraft and returning to the Maun Airport. From there, board your flight home or on to your next destination. (3B, 2L, 2D)
